Question about the setting up the roku device.

Dear Sir/Madam, today I just got one roku device from craigslist. the original owner seems to move out the city and they gave out a lot of stuffs free today. I personally never used roku service before, but now since I got this device I prepare to use it. I just spend some time to read how to connect and set up my roku device . Here I have one question, if the original owner forgot to unlink their original account with this device , can I still continue to set up my own roku account and use this device to watch my channel? I can provide this device information below on the back of this device , it writes , " model 4800X Could you please let me know whether I can set up my account directly , and it doesn't matter the original owner unlink their account with this device or not ? or I have to notify the original owner to cancel/unlink their account with this device firstly? this family might already move and I only pick up this device this morning in front of the owner's house since they post it free offer on local craigslist. Hotel booking with incorrect date charge to my account. Reported this within minutes after receiving my confirmation but all I received was generic answers and information. I receive a booking date confirmation for a day that I was actually flying out of the country so I was left on my own to find a place to stay in a foreign country that I didn't even really have cellular service and I did not know my way around and it was a potential danger cuz I was in Jamaica. They would not change date or even offer to change date for extra fee. nothing like that. The only message I kept getting was no refund no changes. So I ended up had to find a place on my own in a foreign country that is dangerous I never even got to see this hotel cuz I was back in the United States before the booking date came up yet I was still charged for a room in jamaica. User's recommendation: Don't book online.

I had made a complaint about my experience at the Subway in Conyers Georgia on West Avenue. I had ordered my food online and the store ended up closing early so I never got my food or my money back. The restaurant told me to get in touch with the customer service since I ordered through the app. They could not help me. I sent my complaint to customer service and all they did was say thank you for your feed back. They did not resolve my issue nor address the issue at hand. I think you have representatives that are not even reading the complaints and are not doing their job. I still want my money back for the order I did not receive and I will not be doing business with subway again. I was a loyal customer and ate at subway all the time. But thanks to incompetent workers and customer service I will be doing a horrible review on online and I have a very high rank in reviewing restaurants. My order was about $ 22. I work too hard for my money to just give it away without something in return. I don't care if it was $2 it was mine and I earned it. These companies make millions and billions of dollars. Shameful. Give me my money back!!! User's recommendation: Do not use the app because sometimes they close early and customer service will not do anything about it. They will send you an automated response pretending as if they care or even read your complaint. Utterly ridiculous service

Groupon - Unavailable service

I paid for Ultherapy in Deerfield Illinois. I paid for both a neck and a face. They will not honor both. Their phone was listed as 224 392****, which is not a working number. I finally got a hold of them by looking them up on google and called on Monday. They will honor one of the purchases but not both. They said they have told Groupon many times to not list two services, but Groupon refuses to abide by this request. I would like a refund for both purchases. I have now tried to add photos of proof of purchase and your website won’t take them. I also tried to give a review of Groupon and the website on this form does not react. On May 28, 2023, I purchased food from your store at 14920 Tamiami Trail in North Port FL, 34287. When I arrived home I found out that I did not receive everything I had paid for. I did not return immediately because I knew the food I had would get cold and would not be replaced. After I finished eating, I went back to the store to get a refund for the item (coleslaw- $3.59) that I did not receive. The manager (Eric) refused to refund my money. His reasoning was, he needed the product back in order to refund my money. My question to him was, how can I return an item I never got. All I want is a refund of the money I spent. He also informed me that corporate policy would not allow him to refund my money. It would appear to me that customer satisfaction would override corporate policy after looking at all of the negative reviews this store has gotten. As someone who has worked in a Ritz Carlton, I know customer service overrides corporate policy. Attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you User's recommendation: Stay away

I was very dissatisfied with the service offered. Doyouitaly cancelled my car rental (already paid in full for 4 days) because I didnt reach them when i arrived at the airport at 9pm, when in fact I tried contacting them several times (before closing hours , between 9 and 10 pm) on every phone number available. I called the car rental agency (surprice car rental- which apparently you cant reach after 9pm) and my broker-DoYouItaly but nobody answered and I was left waiting in the airport at night hoping that somebody would answer and tell me what the situation was. I was forced this way to find a place to sleep through the night in Bologna, which completely ruined my plans to get to Tuscany that night. Also, had to call several hotels until I managed to find a room available because most of the places I called were fully booked. Me and my wife were in a lot of distress being left in the middle of the night in a foreign city without anybody to contact. After I paid good money on the hotel (for which I have the receipt) I expected to get my car the next morning. When I called the car rental company they said that my broker cancelled the rental (nobody announced me that, I didnt get a call or an emai with the cancellation). After trying several times to reach somebody from DoYouItaly and three persons hang up the phone on me after using the words I have a problem, please help me (weird coincidence) I managed finally to talk to a lady that kept telling me that I should have contacted them when I arrived at the airport . I kept telling her that in fact I did contact them but nobody answered (I even left a voice message and I have print screens with the calls). After all this mess of a situation I was left the next day without a car, without the money I paid for it and with an extra cost for the night I was forced to spend in Bologna. In this situation I would want at least a full refund on my money from the rental back. Im not even adding to this the cost of the hotel, the extra car I had to rent last minute and the time spent in Bologna looking for a place to sleep when I should have been in Tuscany User's recommendation: Pick a real company , that you can find in airport because doyouitally doesn’t answer the phone and you’ll be left without your rental car and without your money.

My service has been discontinued for no fault of my own. I am currently on the ACP program and should have a working phone but instead it's off and has been off for a week I've called everyday but for some reason they have no record of my calls or what the issue is ,even whenever I've talked to them 10 minutes ago. I've been hung up on twice after waiting hours for them to call me back. Every time I hung up he act as though it's technical difficulties . I now have lost my government assistance snap EBT, I have missed calls for important housing opportunities that I'm in desperate need of and I've also missed phone calls from employers that I've taking the time to fill out applications for only two of missed their callbacks . I reached out to an attorney, because now I am left with nothing and no help from family mobile. I feel like this is unfair treatment to some who has had it hard enough already. This government program was put in place to help people like me and I feel family mobile has taken advantage of me because I have a Denver area code and I'm currently living in Pennsylvania. I've done some research and I I'm not certain but I do think it cost may cost family mobile more than what they're getting from the ACP program to have my phone in Pennsylvania with a Denver area code. If that's not the case then why do they continue shutting off my phone and giving me the runaround every time I call. I know it's not you per se doing this to me, that's why I'm reaching out to the legal team. but any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to avoid a long lengthy drawn-out process with attorneys and paperwork. I just want my phone turned back on. I want my family in Denver to be able to get a hold of me because my mother sick right now. I want to be able to fill in an application and have certainty that I have a phone number that a employer can call me back on. I want my government assistance back but I can't get it back because they call you to do an interview and I don't have a phone for them to call me on or I think I have a phone only to be let down again because my phone has been disconnected for a reasons unbeknownst to me. Dear Sir This is to bring to your kind information that I had booked a ticket through my irctc account for my daughter Chitvan Agrawal from Agra to Dehradun on 16.05.2023 for the journey to be undertaken on 28.02.2023. Details of ticket are attached with the mail. The bus was scheduled to depart from Agra at 10.05 PM and being lone female passeneger I had booked seat no. 09 Single sleeper for her. In the evening we got a message from BITLA SOFTWARE PRIVATE LIMITED that the PNR is 44619, Bus no is MP33ME9090 and driver details are Vinod Tomar with Cell no. 748925****. We reached the scheduled place in time and then contacted the driver on this number at 9.50 pm. He told he was at Morena and the bus will reach Agra by 11.30 pm or so.On more enquiry he asked the passenger name and said that there is no such passenger name in his list. Moreover it is a Double Sleeper bus and he no provision for a single seat. He also said that another bus is also running at half an hour difference from his bus and asked us to enquire in that bus. We had no details of that bus neither we were provided any details. On calling Redbus customer care the person was more interested in saying sorry and arranging a conference call with the above mentuioned bus driver. During the conference call the driver was ruder at us that why we talked to customer care and he will be anyhow taking my daughter and WILL ARRANGE A SINGLE SLEEPER FOR HER. My query was that if there are already passengers in the bus, how come you should arrange a single sleeper seat? There was no satisfactory reponse fron the Customer Care Executive. We asked him to cancel our ti cket and refund the money and after much arguementhe told that he has lodged a formaql complaint against the service provider Deepanshu Travels and will revert in 48 working hours. My daughter had to cancel her journey and it amounted to a three non paid leaves as she is is job. IT IS A SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS THAT AS A PART OF IRCTC , SUCH CASUAL SERVICE IS PROVIDED BY REDBUS AND THAT TOO FOR FEMALE PASSENGER? Kindly take note of this incidence and get the needful done for refund of money paid to redbus and compensation for unpaid leaves of my daughter. Filed this complaint against Udchalo

I booked a flight ticket through udChalo app in May to travel in June from Delhi to Bangalore, the flight unfortunately got cancelled due to Covid crisis, I talked to Indigo airlines, they said they have already transferred the money to the credit shell of udChalo and it's upto udChalo now to handle the matter. Frontier Airlines - Scammed & Overcharged and No Exit Row seats

We originally booked 5 Tickets for May 5th and paid a lot of money for them. Our daughter was freed up for our vacation so we wanted to add a ticket for her and we were having internet connection problems so we decided to call a customer service number to add the ticket. They said they were Frontier Airlines but were apparently a travel agency. They charged us an additional $388.02 on top of our tickets which I didn't notice until I saw our credit card statement and checked online ticket prices which were not even close to that amount. I called back the number to find out what was going on and when I asked them they hung up on me. I thought it was an accident so I called back 3 times and was hung up on again 3 times after I questioned the charges. Then after that they must have blocked my number. When I called back the next day they found out who originally charged me the additional money and put me in contact with him. His name was Lance. When I questioned him on the additional charges he got very angry and said I will cancel your ticket and refund your money. Well he canceled my ticket and refunded only the extra money he charged me but not the money for the ticket I was charged. We also paid an additional $780 for 6 exit Row seats but since it was a different plane the seats we had were not exit Row. i sold a bag that was described exactly as it was with replaced parts listed. they had the nerve to repeat everything that was listed which im sure caused this sale to cancel then they were supposed to ship it back to me, well its been weeks and no bag. another transaction sold and shipped but still not paid after it was delivered to the address i sent to weeks ago. i asked the buyer and she said that it was going to korea and the deleware shipping addy was only to avoid taxes from sales and duty and import fees in their country. this company knows it and has oked the shipping path. this is so illegal!!! stay away from these thieves and liars. Airbnb - Non existent customer service. Ghost company!

I booked a room in Athens and lost the key. The host asked me to pay him 150 euros. I asked Airbnb if I should do that. They said not. The host became very violent, entered the apartment, menaced me, shouted at me, called the police and asked me to leave immediately. I rejected and called Airbnb for help. They said they would call me back. They never did. He then cut off the hot water and internet and even the electricity. I contacted Airbnb over 2 days many times and each time there would be a new person telling me they would be somebody who would contact me. Nothing! I had to look for another place, move and just got a voucher for 90 euros and a refund for the days I did not stay there. I lost 2 working days, and had to pay a lot of money to find a different place, pack, take an expensive taxi, and move out. It was very scary and a serious safety issue, and Airbnb did not do anything. They lie constantly! Very sad! User's recommendation: Avoid Airbnb

Air India - Ransacked luggage

My suitcase arrived with broken smashed wheels. The lock had literally been smashed off and broken beyond repair. Some of the contents is missing. My destroyed suitcase arrived 60 hours late. This is the third time this has happened to my luggage on an Air India flight and I am disgusted, to say the least. I feel targeted because I am a white skinned red haired westerner. I wonder how many other whitie bodied individuals have this experience. What can you do about this? I'm truly sorry to have to contact you for help, as I love Bharat Mata so much and the Indian people with all my heart. Norton AntiVirus - To check my cover is still in place

I spoke with one of your team named Jess for around 50 minutes today. My computer had been locked and I also wished to check whether my Norton cover was still up to date as I had been receiving emails saying it was due to be renewed however Norton could not process the automatic payment I had previously set up. I had not responded to these emails from Norton as I was not sure whether it might have been a scam. I could not go into my account as I had forgotten my password. Anyway, Jess was most helpful. Very professional and new her job well. As I wear 2 hearing aids it is often very difficult for me to deal with people over the phone. I had no trouble in understanding or hearing Jess. The problem with my Norton payment was due to the fact that the bank had issued me with a new Credit Card after I had been scammed earlier this year. Jess rectified everything and I was very happy. Horrible dental care. First they have you apply for finance through their own places for the full amount. I went in to have a tooth pulled but they dont do that. You must go through their protocol that cost 3,000. Then they decide you need all kinds of work that will cost you another 3,000. Then they dont care about your pain. I was told cant you just bear it? It was horrible! I left with a bunch of teeth missing. No way to chew my food. I will never go back. Now Im out of money but will never go back to that meat market. Im not the only one either. They are still making me pay them. My husband has called to try and work out the money the took for doing close to nothing but they Dont care. Ebay - The item I ordered was incorrect

The agent with eBay was very helpful and told me what to do; I contacted the seller and they said they would give me a refund on my purchase but have yet to receive it! There has been no response from them since then telling me that the funds have been put back on my credit card; anyway I hope its soon! I was just so upset because they sent me an item in replacement of the one they didnt have; how does something like this get unnoticed? It baffles me to this day! Im very hesitant from ordering from them again; major disappointment! Now Im stuck with a movie I didnt want and didnt order! Plus I now have to go and search for the movie I wanted; what a nightmare; this was a first for me and I hope in the future these sellers are more aware of what theyre sending to buyers!Sad User's recommendation: All I can say is be very cautious when purchasing anything online! Sellers need to be very careful and cautious that they are sending the right thing to the buyers!
